Cane imports by China, the world's biggest buyer, reached a value of 643,000 tonnes of meat in July, showed data from the General Administration of Customs released on Sunday.
The purchases of meat July fell 24.7% year-on-year, but increased 6.6% compared to June 2022.
From January to July, China's meat imports totaled 4.10 million tonnes, down 30.9% from the previous year, according to customs China.
