The price of gasoline dropped 2.5% in the week of July 24 to 30, according to a survey by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels.
The liter of gasoline has an average drop from R$ 5.89 to R$ 5.74 in the period.
On the first day of the 3.9% reduction in the price of gasoline at the refineries in Petrobras, which follows another cut made last week, of 4.9%, the fuel remained 3% above the price practiced in the international market, according to the Brazilian Association of Fuel Importers.
According to the entity, to reach parity the price could drop another R$ 0.15 per litre.

The average price of S10 diesel oil, which is under pressure in the international market due to the increase in demand, remained practically stable, with a slight reduction from R$ 7.55 to R$ 7.51 per liter in the same week.
The less polluting S10 diesel is the most consumed type of diesel in the country.
The price of fuel in Brazil is 5% above the foreign price, informs Abicom, and there could be a reduction of R$ 0.24 per liter.
The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas of 13 kilos, the cooking gas, also did not change significantly.
On average, the cylinder was found by the agency at R$ 111.75 against R$ 111.80 the previous week.
The average price of a liter of ethanol reached R$ 4.21 in the week of July 24th to 30th.
The value represents a decrease of 2.55%, in relation to the average price of a liter of fuel, of R$ 4.32, registered in the previous week of July 17 to 23.
